SYNOPSIS
"Claire Sterling was once the eldest daughter of the wealthy Sterling family in New York. On her wedding day, her brother Ethan brought home a woman named Lydia, who claimed to be their long-lost sister. Ethan turned Claire’s wedding into a welcome party for Lydia. He also allowed Lydia to take Claire’s clothes, her place in the family, and even her fiancé. Claire was sent to a remote town for three years to be “taught a lesson.” By the time Ethan brought her home, years of abuse had left her with terminal stomach cancer. She had only seven days left to live. After returning to the Sterling family, Claire continued to suffer humiliation from Ethan, her former fiancé Alexander, and Lydia.
